Benefits of CTCC Community Days

  • Benefits to the Community Days?
    • A Celebration of our Non-Profit and Civic Groups
    • Creating Sense of Community…FOUR PILLARS OF CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP bringing business, NP/Civic groups, churches & government together
    • Family Fun for a good cause.
    • Encouraging business and residents to be involved in our NP/Civic organizations.
    • Minimal to no costs for the nonprofit/civic groups to promote these groups and allow them to raise over $70,000 for their causes
    • Minimize tax dollars used for Community Days.
  • How will CTCC benefit;
    • Execute our mission of promoting our non-profit/civic groups with the goal of encouraging businesses and residents to support, donate and ideally become a member of one of these groups.
    • Help to make residents aware of CTCC mission.
    • Emphasize the importance of the Four Pillars of our community.
    • Gives more exposure to the Cranberry Foundation
  • How will CTCC pay for the Annual Report/ Community Days? Total costs at $35,000
    • Minimal to no costs for the nonprofit/civic groups to promote these groups and allow them to raise over $70,000 for their causes
    • CTCC uses no money from residents to support these programs but depends on special projects (street auction, dress sale, sponsors, etc..)
    • Will be doing special Community Day Sponsors (see attached sheet)
    • Booth sales
    • Scavenger hunts/geo-caching with sponsors
    • Depend on local companies for special support
    • Share in Carnival proceeds
    • Township will cover public works, police, administration, fireworks costs and is a major support for overall planning and execution of Community Days.
