The Cranberry Township Historical Society

The CTCC would like to introduce you to our August 2008 Non Profit Organization / Civic Group of the Month, the Cranberry Township Historical Society. The Historical Society was founded in 1989 and is dedicated to identifying, preserving, and promoting public awareness of historical sites, landmarks, placenames and traditions. The group currently has 64 memberships, including personal, family and business members. The group conducts tours of Sample School, a one room schoolhouse built in 1874, and holds historical programs for the general public 4 times per year.
