CTCC Goals:
- Increase volunteers
& membership by connecting residents to nonprofit/civic
groups(primary goal). Create sustainability for Cranberry for
long term community health (Cranberry
Plan)
- Help to promote
the non-profit/civic groups with their mission and programs.
- Help raise money
for the non-profit/civic groups and encourage them to provide
community programs & projects. Seed services and programs
that benefit our residents and community.
Raising Money:
- Annual drive in
July allowing residents and business to donate/pledge directly
or on a quarterly sewer/water bill.
- Special events;
CTCC 2008 Community Days; Annual Report, grants others.
- Legacy Foundation
Funds; endowments for CTCC, Library or any non-profits or civic
group.
Promotion:
- Central Website;
newspaper calendar; Township web site; press releases;others.
- Inter group emailing
of programs and fund raisers.
- Reaching the community
through Annual Report.
Engaging Residents:
- Encourage "Community
Service" and create levels of recognition for those who
give 50/100/250 hours of service to our non-profit and civic
groups.
- Create programs
where mother/daughters, father/sons, families can look at a
list of volunteers opportunities and get involved.... ideally
in time becoming members of the organization.
